This rig was created for a World War 2 simulation. Because of the high poly count of the character, the rig was divided into two seperate rigs.

The first is Animation Rig. This rig is built for speed and ease of use. There are no muscle or deformation bones on this rig; it is a basic skeleton with controls.

For speed there is also no skinning on the animation rig, instead a Cut-Up mesh is used.

The second rig is the Deformation Rig. This rig contains all of the muscle and deformation bones, and the final high-poly mesh is skinned to it.

This rig also has the simulations for the helmet straps and other peripherals.
